Organic Cotton
Just like with your food, organic is where it’s at for fabrics, too. Organic cotton means that no pesticides, insecticides, genetically modified crops, or mechanised farming practices (A.K.A. all the stuff that shouldn’t belong in making our clothes anyway) were used to grow the cotton. Just how it should be.
Zero Pesticides
Organic cotton also uses 91% less water than traditional cotton to be grown, reduces levels of water pollution by 98% as compared to conventional cotton, and creates 46% fewer greenhouse gas emissions. It’s kind of a big deal.
Recycled Polyester
Recycled polyester looks and feels just like the regular stuff, but is hella better for the planet.How? It diverts plastic from landfills, prevents plastic from ending up in waterways and harming marine life, produces less greenhouse gas emissions during production and processing, and reduces reliance on petroleum as a raw material.
Not So Risky Business
Polo shirts and joggers both give off a sportswear vibe, making them almost ‘made for each other’ for polished but casual look. Throw them on for a day of hard days’ work at the kitchen table.
